 The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 is a pivotal event for engineering aspirants across India. JEE Main 2025 will be conducted in two sessions:

• Session 1: January 22 to January 31, 2025

  • Registration Period: October 28 to November 22, 2024

• Session 2: April 1 to April 8, 2025

  • Registration Period: January 31 to February 24, 2025

Key Changes in Exam Pattern

The NTA has reverted to the pre-pandemic exam format for JEE Main 2025, implementing several notable changes:

1. Mandatory Numerical Questions: All numerical questions in Section B are now compulsory. The previous option to choose questions in this section has been removed. 

2. Fixed Number of Questions: Each subject—Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics—will consist of 25 questions: 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in Section A and 5 numerical questions in Section B. All questions are mandatory.

    

3. Negative Marking: Negative marking applies to both MCQs and numerical questions. Each incorrect answer will result in a deduction of 1 mark, while correct answers will be awarded 4 marks.
